Merissa Gladys Pena

Merissa Gladys Pena is an experienced professional currently serving as a Certificant & Student Services Administrator at FP Canada since April 2021. Previously, Merissa held roles including Junior Program Assistant at Access for Parents and Children in Ontario (APCO) and Trauma-Informed Care Needs Assessment Compiler and Developer at the Canadian Centre for Victims Of Torture. Additionally, Merissa facilitated youth mentorship as a Young Women's Outreach Worker at Scarborough Women's Centre and served as an English and French Tutor at Young Scholars Learning Centre. Early career experiences include working as a Skincare Consultant and Customer Service Representative at The Body Shop. Merissa holds an Honours BSc in French and Psychology from the University of Toronto, a Diploma in Social Service Work from Seneca Polytechnic, and a Diploma in Game and Interactive Media Design from Seneca Polytechnic.
