Merel Kempen

Merel Kempen is currently employed as a Psycholoog i.o. GZ-psycholoog at STEVIG since February 2024 and has been a Psycholoog at FPC de Rooyse Wissel since July 2017. Previous roles include Psycholoog in opleiding tot GZ-psycholoog at both Proteion and Vincent van Gogh voor geestelijke gezondheidszorg, as well as various positions in care and support services, including Zzp'er in de zorg and Zorgkundige. Merel began a career in healthcare in 2007 with ZVM Thuiszorg, focusing on elderly care. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Developmental Psychology from Maastricht University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Neuroscience, also from Maastricht University. Merel's practical experience encompasses both clinical roles and direct client care, highlighting a comprehensive background in psychological services and support.
