Serena Althaus

Serena Althaus is Senior Managing Director at Ferguson Partners, based in the firm’s London office. Her practice serves an extensive number of clients in the real estate sector, and she specializes in assisting those working in the areas of development, investment, structured finance and advisory, across all asset types (offices, logistics, retail, student accommodation, PRS, senior living and data centers). Serena also participates in the Board, CFO and Hospitality Practices.

Serena has overseen or directly executed over 400 mandates over her 20-year career in the search industry from the Board to Director level. Prior to joining Ferguson Partners in 2007, Serena worked at Spencer Stuart, Norman Broadbent and Heidrick & Struggles, where she worked across the Consumer, Industrial and Real Estate sectors. She is a regular speaker at industry events and has written numerous industry articles pertaining to diversity in the workplace, among other topics.

Serena received a BA (Hons) in English from Durham University. When she’s not working on searches, Serena enjoys skiing, clay pigeon shooting and scuba diving.
