Nick Hughes

Nick Hughes has extensive work experience in the energy storage industry. Nick began their career in the US Navy as an Electronics Technician Nuclear, serving from January 2006 to August 2012.

In 2012, they joined Younicos as a Control Room Operator, where they were responsible for remote monitoring and control of energy storage systems for wind and solar power farms. Nick also conducted data analysis and provided on-site support as needed.

In 2014, Nick was promoted to Manager - Operations and Maintenance at Younicos. In this role, they led a team and managed all activities of the Customer Service Operations Center, ensuring safe and efficient operations of energy storage systems. Nick also developed and executed preventative maintenance programs for each system.

In 2018, Nick transitioned to Fractal Energy Storage Consultants as the VP of Operations, a role they currently hold.

Nick Hughes attended Excelsior University from 2011 to 2012 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology.
