Devin Reese

Devin Reese is an accomplished professional in the field of science writing and education, currently serving as Executive Editor for Natural History Magazine since June 2021. Concurrently, Devin writes a twice-weekly newsletter for Fragment Media Group and develops biology instructional modules for Visionlearning under a NSF grant. Previous roles include Science Assessment Writer for A Pass Educational Group, USAID Reporting Editor for WWF Perú, and Science Script Writer for Complexly's PBS Eons series. With a strong background in aligning science content with educational standards at Newsela and serving on the AAAS Kavli Science Journalism Awards screening committees, Devin holds a PhD in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a magna cum laude Bachelor of Arts in Ethology from Harvard University.
