Jack Smith

Jack Smith has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering and application development. Jack is currently working as a Senior Application Development Manager at Fragomen since August 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Trustwave for 13 years, starting as a Software Engineer and progressing to roles such as Senior Software Engineer, Lead Software Engineer, and eventually Software Architect. In addition to their full-time roles, Jack also had some involvement in the homebrewing industry, serving as a Homebrewing Columnist for CraftPittsburgh Magazine from August 2014 to July 2019 and as the President of the Three Rivers Alliance of Serious Homebrewers from January 2015 to January 2017. Before joining Trustwave, Jack worked as a Software Engineer at Cepstral LLC from January 2004 to December 2006, and at Allegheny County from February 2002 to January 2004. Jack gained early experience as a student co-op at Vocollect and GE Energy, where they worked as a Software Engineer in 1999. Overall, Jack Smith has demonstrated a strong track record in software engineering, with a focus on application development and leadership roles.

Jack Smith attended the University of Pittsburgh from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
