Laurence Keir-Thomas has a diverse work experience in the legal field, primarily focused on immigration law. Laurence started their career as a Public Law Caseworker at Duncan Lewis Solicitors in 2009 and worked there until 2011. Laurence then joined Stuart Miller Solicitors, where they worked as an Immigration Caseworker from 2011 to 2012 and as a Trainee Solicitor from 2012 to 2014.
In 2014, Laurence Keir-Thomas joined the UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA) as an Advice & Training Officer and Solicitor (non-practising role), where they worked until 2016.
Since 2016, Laurence Keir-Thomas has been associated with Fragomen. Laurence started as an Associate (Solicitor) and worked there until 2018. During this time, they gained extensive experience in UK-inbound corporate immigration, servicing clients in various industry sectors.
From 2018 to 2021, Laurence Keir-Thomas held the role of Senior Associate (Solicitor) at Fragomen, where they continued to specialize in UK-inbound corporate immigration and also provided assistance to private clients on various legal matters.
Currently, Laurence Keir-Thomas is a Manager (Solicitor) at Fragomen, supervising a team of immigration specialists representing corporate clients in different sectors. Laurence'sresponsibilities include assisting clients in developing and maintaining effective global mobility strategies.
Laurence Keir-Thomas completed their education at three different institutions. From 1994 to 2004, they attended Bradford Grammar School, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Then, from 2005 to 2008, they enrolled in UCL to pursue a degree in Law. Laurence went on to The University of Law from 2008 to 2009 to obtain a Legal Practice Course qualification.
