Mariela Herbias

Mariela Herbias has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to the present. Mariela started their career as a Litigation Paralegal at the Law Office of William Pager in 2003 and continued in the same role at the Law Office of Chris McCollum from 2006 to 2013.

In 2012, Mariela took on the role of VP of Fundraising/Social Media Coordinator at the PA of PS 193 Gil Hodges. Mariela coordinated and executed fundraising events while also managing social media platforms.

Mariela then transitioned to the PA Executive Board of PS 193 Gil Hodges in 2013, serving as the Co-VP of Publicity. Mariela handled various communication tasks such as marketing, advertising, and publicity for the PA, ensuring the dissemination of information to the PS 193 community.

In 2014, Mariela joined Fragomen as an Administrative Assistant, where they effectively managed calendars, scheduled meetings, and organized team leadership meetings. Mariela also handled event logistics and coordinated with external vendors.

Over the years, Mariela progressed within Fragomen and held positions such as Assistant Paralegal 2, Paralegal, and Senior Paralegal. In these roles, they demonstrated expertise in case management, team supervision, monitoring case statuses, client communication, and meeting deadlines.

Mariela'smost recent role at Fragomen is Manager, Analytics & Operations, which they assumed in May 2021. In this capacity, Mariela oversees analytics and operations while providing support, assigning work, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
