Emery Wells

CEO & co-Founder at Frame.io

Emery Wells is the CEO and co-founder of Frame.io, a cloud-based video post-production platform that allows users to collaborate on video projects. Emery has over 15 years of experience in the video production industry. Emery got their start as a motion graphics artist at Citigroup before moving on to founding their own post-production facility and digital agency, Katabatic Digital. At Katabatic, Emery participated in the creation of over 100 "Digital Shorts" for Saturday Night Live. In 2008, they co-created, developed, executive produced and wrote “The Circuit” -- iN Demand’s first high-definition web and broadcast series for its “MOJO HD” cable network. The show delivered a weekly, humorous roundup of technology, featuring man-on the street interviews and an irreverent host. Emery has also freelanced as a digital imaging technician and senior compositor. In 2012, they co-founded MacBreak Inc., a company that produces education content for videographers and filmmakers.
