Erin McInnis

Erin McInnis serves as the Manager of Media Operations at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, overseeing the coordination of over 2,500 press members for the Oscars and related events since January 2018. McInnis has held various roles, including Media Credentials Coordinator and Press Coordinator, managing press credentials and communication for significant Academy events. Additionally, Erin has contributed to organizations such as The American Film Institute, Film Independent, Tribeca, and California Film Institute, taking on roles from Assistant Box Office Manager to Publicity Manager. Noteworthy accomplishments include successfully transitioning the Annapolis Film Festival to a digital format in 2020 and overseeing daily operations of film festivals amid COVID-19 protocols. Educational qualifications include a BA in History (Honors), Film Studies, and Theatre from Wake Forest University and an MA in Media Arts from the University of Arizona.
