Manne Öhrström

Global Director Of Production Technology at Framestore

Manne Öhrström started their career in 1996 as a Quality Assurance worker at ITT Flygt. Manne then worked as a Web Developer at Mondaq Ltd. from 2001 to 2001, where they focused on web application development and maintenance. From 2003 to 2004, they worked at Electronic Arts as a Special Effects Engine Programmer and Research Student, where they specialized in real-time global illumination techniques for computer games. Manne then joined Vanguard Films & Animation as a Pipeline TD in 2004, where they developed pipeline and rendering tools for CG feature animation. In 2005, they became the Tools Lead at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, working on the development of Eight Days. In 2006, they joined Framestore CFC as a Pipeline TD and later became a Software Supervisor for A Tale of Despereaux. In 2008, they joined Shotgun Software as a Software Engineer and Product Lead Pipeline, where they designed and built workflow and pipeline solutions for VFX and media production. In 2014, they joined Autodesk as a Principal Software Engineer and later became a Senior Principal Software Engineer, focusing on the development and scaling of the Shotgun Toolkit platform. Currently, Manne serves as the Global Director of Production Technology at Framestore since 2019.

Manne Öhrström completed a Master of Science degree in Engineering Physics at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University from 1997 to 2003.
