Kristen Porter-Utley currently serves as the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Framingham State University since August 2022. Previously, Kristen held the position of Dean of the Bartlett College of Science and Mathematics at Bridgewater State University from July 2016 to August 2022. Kristen’s earlier experience includes roles at Keene State College, where responsibilities included serving as Assistant Dean of Sciences, Professor, Chair of the Biology Department, Associate Professor with Tenure, and Assistant Professor. Kristen completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Botany, a Master’s Degree in Botany, a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Horticulture, and an Associate’s Degree in Biology, all from the University of Florida and Polk State College.
