April Purvis is an experienced legal professional and educator with a strong background in university administration and law. Currently serving as Executive Secretary to the Board of Trustees at Clemson University, April has held various roles at the Clemson University Foundation since July 2015, including Legal Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Operating Officer. Additionally, April has been an Adjunct Instructor of U.S. Government at Francis Marion University since August 2010, and previously taught as a Full-time Instructor. April's legal expertise was further developed at Wukela Law Firm, where responsibilities included domestic relations, probate, and general tort litigation. April holds a JD from Florida Coastal School of Law and a B.S. in Political Science and Mass Communications from Francis Marion University.
