Basil Valente

Basil Valente, O.F.M. serves as the Executive Director of the National Vocation Office for the Franciscan Friars of the Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe since October 2023. In addition to this role, Basil has been the Director of Vocations at Holy Name Province since September 2014, where work focuses on guiding men who wish to join the Franciscan Fraternity. Basil also holds a position as a Tenured Assistant Professor of Integrated Marketing Communications at St. Bonaventure University, where responsibilities include overseeing the graduate program in Integrated Marketing Communications and facilitating client engagements in project-oriented courses. Educational credentials include a BA in English, Communication, and Marketing & Management from Siena College, an MA in Public Communications from American University, and an MTS in Pastoral Communications from Washington Theological Union.
