Gerdus Buitendag

Gerdus Buitendag has diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Gerdus is currently serving as the CFO at frank body, an Australian company with a global reach. In this role, they are responsible for managing a finance and IT team. Prior to this, Gerdus worked as a Director at Seed CFO, where they provided outsourced accounting solutions for small to medium-sized enterprises.

Gerdus also served as the Chief Financial Officer at The Brand Stable (Europe), a fashion-focused company with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, and London. Gerdus also worked as a Senior Analyst at RubinBrown LLP and held various roles at Pitcher Partners, including Senior Analyst - Business Valuations and Analyst - Business Advisory and Assurance.

Gerdus started their career as a Business Advisory and Tax consultant at Buitendag Consulting, where they established a tax return business and provided bookkeeping and financial controller services to a digital media agency.

Gerdus Buitendag completed their education in a chronological order. Gerdus first attended Ivanhoe Grammar School from 2005 to 2007, where they completed their secondary education. Gerdus then pursued higher education at the University of Melbourne from 2007 to 2009, earning a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance. Following that, they enrolled in Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained professional accreditation. Lastly, they attended Melbourne Business School from 2015 to 2017, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
