Jesse Smith

Jesse Smith is an experienced Application Engineer at Franklin Electric since January 2020, specializing in the design of custom enclosures for HVAC systems and pumps. Prior to this, Jesse worked at Schneider Electric from 2006 to 2019, serving as an Experienced Senior Design Engineer, where responsibilities included designing and implementing uninterruptable power supply units using Creo2, as well as providing support for legacy products. In various roles, Jesse managed product life cycles, cost reductions, and engineering change orders. Earlier career experience includes working as a Resident Engineer at Steelcase from 2001 to 2006, responsible for launching new products and managing factory work orders. Jesse holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.
