Rochelle Espitia is an experienced educational leader with a comprehensive background in K-8 instruction and administration. Since July 2019, Rochelle has served as the School Principal for Franklin-McKinley School District, having previously held roles as Assistant Principal and RSP Teacher. Rochelle's expertise extends to professional development, demonstrated through collaborations with Stanford Center for Opportunity Policy in Education and as a Mentor Teacher for the SJSU Lurie College of Education. Additional experience includes coaching mathematics at Silicon Valley Education Foundation and supporting new teachers through the BTSA South Bay Consortium. Rochelle's teaching history includes positions as a 7th Grade Mathematics Teacher and Education Specialist, alongside a foundational role as a First Grade Mathematics Teacher at Rocketship Education. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree from USC Rossier School of Education, Rochelle also holds a Master's Degree in Education and a Liberal Studies degree from San Jose State University.
