Alexander O'Connor, PhD has had a diverse work experience spanning several companies. From 2017, they worked at FranklinCovey as a Senior Researcher where they designed and tested a user onboarding/content recommendation tool. Alexander conducted various testing methods such as usability tests, surveys, interviews, and A/B tests. Alexander also served as the lead researcher on multiple user tests and content development projects.

Prior to joining FranklinCovey, Alexander worked at Jhana (acquired by Franklin Covey) starting from 2016. There, they held the role of Sr. Writer/Researcher and was responsible for developing online resources for managers on topics like team goal setting and managing remote teams. Alexander conducted interviews with professionals to inform content development and analyzed data from surveys on workplace professional development and unconscious bias.

Before their time at Jhana, Alexander worked at Lamorinda Consulting, LLC. (now part of Berkeley Research Group) as an Organizational Consultant from 2007 to 2016. Alexander'sexpertise was in job and organizational studies used by top companies as well as attorneys in employment litigation. Alexander also provided consulting services in employment law and wage & hour compliance.

From 2012 to 2014, Alexander served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Hitotsubashi University Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy (ICS). Alexander'sprimary research focused on workplace anxiety, emotion regulation, idea sharing, and creativity. Alexander used various methods and statistical analyses to analyze data and disseminate research results.

Alexander O'Connor, PhD obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from the University of Maryland between 2002 and 2004. Alexander then pursued further education at the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Social and Personality Psychology from 2005 to 2012.
