Carey Thomas

Carey Thomas has a diverse range of work experience in the education sector. They started their career as a Residence Director at the University of Florida, where they supervised a staff and provided support to undergraduate students. They then worked as an Area Coordinator at Baldwin Wallace University, overseeing professionals and para-professionals in creating a positive living and learning environment for college students. Carey Thomas also served as the Director of Admissions at St. Joseph Academy Catholic High School, where they successfully achieved recruitment goals. They later joined NEISD as an Assistant Librarian, actively engaging with students, leading lessons, and assisting with district-wide programs. Currently, Carey Thomas works at FranklinCovey as an Education Success Partner, employing timeless principles of human effectiveness to transform organizations and help individuals change their mindsets and behaviors. They also have prior experience at FranklinCovey as an Educational Consultant, delivering training workshops and maintaining up-to-date certifications.

Carey Thomas holds a Master of Education MS degree in Higher Education/College Student Personnel from Indiana University Bloomington. Prior to that, Carey obtained a Bachelor's degree in Interpersonal and Public Communications from Bowling Green State University. Additionally, Carey has obtained a certification in the "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" from FranklinCovey in June 2013.
