Axel Blum

Axel Blum has over 24 years of work experience, primarily in the IT field. Axel held various roles at Uniklinik RWTH Aachen, including Chief Information Security Officer, Informationssicherheitsbeauftragter, Bereichsleiter IT-Strategie und IT-Governance, Bereichsleiter IT-Services, Bereichsleiter IT-Integration, Teamleiter Medizinische Systeme, and Wiss. Angestellter/IT-Projekt. Prior to that, they worked as a Studentische Hilfskraft at RWTH Aachen University.

Axel Blum attended Maximilian Kolbe Gymnasium in Wegberg from 1978 to 1988, where they obtained their Abitur degree. Following this, they pursued their higher education at RWTH Aachen University from 1988 to 1996. During this time, they earned a degree in Diplom-Informatiker, specializing in Informatik.
