Dr. Oluwatomi Ibidapo-Obe

Dr. Oluwatomi (Tomi) Ibidapo-obe is a highly experienced researcher with a focus on immunobiology and hepatology. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Uniklinik RWTH Aachen since January 2021, Dr. Ibidapo-obe previously completed a Doctoral degree at Universitätsklinikum Jena, where the dissertation involved the characterization of Unconventional T cell subsets in decompensated cirrhosis and spontaneous bacterial peritonitis. Additional research experience includes a Clinical Research Student position at Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute, investigating soluble immune molecules as biomarkers in liver disease. Educational qualifications include a PhD from Friedrich Schiller University Jena, an MS in Molecular Medicine from Trinity College Dublin, and a BS in Cell Biology and Genetics from the University of Lagos. Prior roles also involved teaching and clinical laboratory internships.
