Mohamed Ismail Hamed is a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher at Uniklinik RWTH Aachen since July 2021, with prior experience at Universitätsmedizin Göttingen from August 2016 to November 2020. Hamed's research focuses on the nuclear pore complex and nucleocytoplasmic transport, with expertise in cell culture techniques, RNAi, PCR, and various protein purification methods. Hamed has also interned at CECAD, University Clinic Bonn, Riva Pharma, Modern Sciences and Arts University, and October Pharma, gaining experience in neurodegenerative disease, prostate cancer research, and quality control in pharmaceuticals. Hamed holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Göttingen, a Master of Science in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University, and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Modern Sciences and Arts University, along with a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Greenwich.
