Oliver Saldanha

Oliver Saldanha is a Machine Learning Researcher at Uniklinik RWTH Aachen since October 2020, focusing on computational methods in "Computational Oncology" to address cancer challenges using Deep Learning and Computational Modeling techniques. Prior experience includes a Master Thesis Project at the Fraunhofer Institute for Factory Operation and Automation IFF, where Oliver conducted literature research on machine learning algorithms and engaged in Python programming for data collection. An internship in robotics and image processing involved utilizing TensorFlow for AI applications. Earlier roles also include serving as a Research Assistant at Hochschule Furtwangen University, focusing on physical vapor deposition, and as an Automation Engineer at SMEC Automation, involved in developing and testing automated equipment. Oliver Saldanha holds a Master of Science in Smart Systems from Hochschule Furtwangen and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from St Joseph Engineering College.
