Sanne Lidewij Maas

Sanne Lidewij Maas is a postdoctoral researcher at Uniklinik RWTH Aachen since June 2021, following a Ph.D. as a Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from November 2016 to June 2021, where involvement with SFB914 and SFB1123 took place. Sanne's research focused on leukocyte recruitment and the identification of molecular patterns on arterial endothelium, as well as the role of CXCR4 and CXCL12 in atherosclerosis. Previous experience includes roles as a research assistant at Maastricht University, an administrative and executive assistant at Teikyo University, and internships studying various biomedical topics. Sanne holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor's degree with tracks in Mental Health and Biology & Health from Maastricht University.
