Muharem Žigović

Muharem Žigović has extensive work experience in the field of aviation security. Muharem started their career in 2007 as a Betriebssicherheitsassistent at Fraport AG, where they worked until 2012 in various roles, including Einsatzsachbearbeiter Sicherheitsleitstelle, Stellvertretender Safety and Security Duty Manager, and Safety and Security Duty Manager. From 2013 to 2019, they served as a Security Duty Officer at Fraport AG. In 2017, they also worked as a Personenschutz. In 2019, they became the Aufgabenleiter und stellvertretender Leiter der Sicherheitsleitstelle, a role they held until 2021. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Project Manager, and from 2022 onwards, they hold the position of Head of Aviation Security Operations at Fraport AG. In addition to their work at Fraport AG, Muharem Žigović has also served as a member of the IHK Prüfungsausschuss für Fachkräfte für Schutz und Sicherheit at IHK Frankfurt am Main since 2015.

Muharem Žigović has a Master of Arts degree in Kriminologie und Polizeiwissenschaft from Ruhr University Bochum, which they completed from 2018 to 2020. Muharem also holds a Master of Science degree in Safety and Security Management from Universität für Weiterbildung Krems, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. In addition, Žigović has completed various other qualifications, including Waffensachkunde nach §7 Waffengesetz from VSW Mainz in 2017, Meister für Schutz und Sicherheit from IHK Cottbus from 2009 to 2011, and Berufs- und arbeitspädagogische Qualifikation from IHK Darmstadt in 2009. Muharem also has certification as a Fachkraft für Schutz und Sicherheit from Werner-Heisenberg-Schule, which they earned from 2004 to 2007.
