Jo Ann Whitham

Jo Ann Whitham started their career in 2000 as the IEPs & Adjudications Coordinator and English Department Head at Fraser Academy. Jo Ann then worked as the Learning Resources Group Coordinator at ISABC from 2014 to 2016. Currently, they are a Resource Teacher at Vancouver School District since 2017. In their role, they develop programs and supports a diverse range of students in the Grade 5 community, including English language learners, designation students, and students with social emotional needs and learning differences.

Jo Ann Whitham has a Master's Degree in Special Education (Learning Disabilities) from The University of British Columbia, which they obtained between 2012 and 2015. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the same institution in the year 2003. In addition to their formal education, they received certification in Orton Gillingham Training in August 1998, although the institution is not specified.
