Preenan Peony

Preenan Peony is an experienced educator specializing in literacy and learning support. Currently serving as an Orton Gillingham Practitioner at Fraser Academy since January 2019, Preenan has a background as a Learning Specialist at Little House Tutoring and Learning Centre from April 2015 to December 2018, where responsibilities included assessing literacy needs and creating individualized education plans. Previous roles include Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Vancouver School of Economics at UBC, conducting tutoring sessions and designing course materials, as well as internships focused on enhancing judicial capacities and healthcare access for vulnerable populations. Preenan holds a Master of Arts in Education from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from York University.
