Gary Wong

Gary Wong is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as a Patient Care Coordinator in the RCH Intensive Care Unit at Fraser Health Authority since January 2022. With a solid background in critical care nursing, Gary has demonstrated expertise in advanced trauma, ECMO, and critical care outreach among other areas. Prior roles include Patient Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse in high acuity settings. Additionally, Gary has held various positions in the BC Emergency Health Services and has a rich history in figure skating, both as a professional coach and a competitive athlete representing Canada internationally. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Biomedical Physiology, along with specialized training in critical care and high acuity nursing from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
