Julie Fraser has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Julie began their career in 2006 as a Clinical Practice Consultant at Fraser Health Authority. Julie then held positions as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Interim Manager before becoming the Manager of Abbotsford Home Health & Specialized Seniors Clinic. Julie also worked as the Director of Professional Practice in the Regulatory Practice Portfolio at Fraser Health Authority. In November 2021, they took on the role of Executive Director, leading the Professional Practice and serving as the Chief Nursing & Allied Health Officer. Julie has also contributed to the nursing profession through their involvement with various organizations, including serving as a Board Member for The Canadian Nurses Protective Society and the Canadian Nurses Association. Julie Fraser obtained a Master's degree in Nursing from the University of Victoria between 2007 and 2009. Julie also received a Certification in Gerontology from the Canadian Nurses Association in 2016. Additionally, Julie earned a Diploma in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Douglas College.
