Zaryab Afzal

Zaryab Afzal is a Senior Engineer in Innovation & Technology at Frazer-Nash Consultancy, working on the INVICTUS hypersonic aircraft development program and contributing to the Aviation, Space, and Sustainability sectors. Previously, Zaryab served as a Preliminary Aircraft Design Engineer at GKN Aerospace, focused on the H2GEAR cryogenic hydrogen-electric fuel cell aircraft program, and held roles emphasizing sustainability and project management in aerospace engineering. Earlier experiences include manufacturing engineering at Manna Drone Delivery, propulsion systems research for the StrathLoop Hyperloop team, and chassis engineering for the USEV team. Zaryab participated in the European Space Agency's Clean Space Programme and completed competitive internships in the United States as a Saltire Scholar. Zaryab holds a Master of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and has further education in Space Studies from the International Space University and Aero-Mechanical Engineering from MCI.
