Alan Monaghan has held various roles in the IT industry. Alan started their career as a Senior Technical Support Officer at Children's Hospital Westmead in 2000 and worked there until 2010. Alan then moved on to Colliers International Australia, where they served as a Service Desk Team Leader from 2011 to 2013. After that, they joined Ricoh Australia as a Service Desk Team Leader from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, they joined Evolution Mining as an IT Technical Service Desk Team Leader, later transitioning to a Senior IT Support Analyst. In 2018, they worked as a Senior Site Engineer at Cochlear and then as a Senior Helpdesk Officer at BGIS. Currently, they are employed as an IT Support Team Lead at Frasers Property Australia since March 2019.
Alan Monaghan obtained a diploma in Information Technology from TAFE NSW in 2006. In 2003, they also received a Certificate IV in Information Technology from TAFE NSW. Prior to that, they completed an Associate Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from TAFE NSW from 1994 to 1996. Alan also holds additional certifications such as ITIL Foundation 2011, MCP Server 2003, MCP Windows XP, and ITIL Foundation V2.
