Florian Hilpert

Florian Hilpert has extensive experience in business development and engineering, currently serving as Strategic Business Development lead for Powerelectronic Systems at Fraunhofer IISB since January 2012. Focused on expanding aviation power electronics, Florian also holds the position of Groupleader Aviation Electronics, spearheading the development of high power density systems for aerospace applications. Additionally, Florian manages European-level projects under the Clean Aviation Programme at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. Previous experience includes a student internship at Porsche AG in project management for e-mobility, where responsibilities included assembling high voltage battery systems and conducting endurance tests for electric vehicles. Florian holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechatronics from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
