Distinguished Fellow (non-resident) Of Fraunhofer Moez, Leipzig at Fraunhofer

Itzhak Goldberg is an experienced economist currently serving as a CASE Fellow at the Center for Social and Economic Research since June 2009. In addition, Itzhak holds the position of Distinguished Fellow (non-Resident) at Fraunhofer MOEZ in Leipzig, where research focuses on German gazelles and mittelstand companies. Itzhak has been a consultant for The World Bank since September 1990, providing economic advice on innovation, technology, and SMEs across several countries. Previous roles include Senior Researcher at the European Commission's JRC, where a comparative analysis of US and EU ICT sub-sectors was conducted, and Director of Economics and Control at Dead Sea Works in Israel from 1979 to 1990. Itzhak's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago and a BA in Economics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
