As a Director in Frazier & Deeter’s Tax Practice, Carol Anne Winters specializes in tax planning, compliance and advisory services, with a focus on business and international tax. She has broad experience in real estate tax, including non-residential and multi-family real estate, real estate development and sale transactions, foreign investor relations and tax compliance, along with complex partnership allocations and waterfalls.

Carol Anne also has expertise in multi-state tax compliance and state withholding tax compliance. She focuses on the construction, hospitality and retail industries. When Carol Anne isn’t working with clients, she leads the firm’s Tax Sunshine Committee, which focuses on the well-being of the individuals within FD’s Tax Practice and encourages the development of relationships internally. She is involved in the firm’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Committee, where she serves on the Social and Culture subcommittee, as well as serving as a culture liaison for experienced hires for the firm’s Tax practice. 

Before joining FD, Carol Anne studied at the University of Georgia and received degrees in Accounting and Marketing, as well as certificates in Music Business and Leadership Advancement. During her studies, she served as a public relations representative for the Georgia Watermelon Association.
