Eric Johnson

As a HITRUST Director in Frazier & Deeter’s Process, Risk & Governance practice (PRG), Eric Johnson contributes tremendous expertise in the HITRUST, HIPAA, IT security, forensics and law enforcement sectors. Bringing in over 10 years of digital forensics experience and over 20 years of investigative experience, he is responsible for performing and overseeing HITRUST security assessments to ensure compliance and data protection. Eric has been active in the HITRUST industry for nearly five years, where he’s served as a consultant and senior manager. 

Prior to joining the firm, Eric was a senior manager at Coalfire, where he led a team of HITRUST assessors and consultants on certification and advisory projects. He also served as a digital forensics consultant, where he conducted digital forensic acquisitions and analysis from digital devices, technical security reviews and provided expert testimony regarding forensic findings in civil, criminal, fraud and internal investigations.

Eric currently holds a Private Investigator license in the state of Colorado, as well as Forensic Interviewing from the Arizona POST.
