Gordon Empey

Gordon Empey is a legal professional with extensive experience in the fields of technology, healthcare, and life sciences. Currently serving as Partner & General Counsel at Frazier Life Sciences since December 2017, Gordon provides counsel to a family office and select investors on investments in emerging growth companies. Prior roles include Partner at Cooley LLP from October 2008 to June 2017, and Vice President & General Counsel at Radiant Research from May 2004 to August 2007. Gordon also worked as an attorney at Venture Law Group and served as a Lieutenant in the US Navy's Judge Advocate General Corps from 1994 to 1998. Gordon holds a JD from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and a BA in History from Colgate University.
