Daan van Daele

Daan van Daele is an experienced maritime professional currently serving as a 2nd officer and JDPO at Fred. Olsen Windcarrier since January 2023, after previously holding the position of 3rd Officer and JDPO. Prior to this, Daan spent over six years with Spliethoff Group, progressing from Cadet 1 and 2 to 3rd Officer. Daan began their career as a Lifeguard for Reddingsbrigade Callantsoog & Groote Keeten in 2013. Daan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nautical Studies from Maritiem Instituut Willem Barentsz and a MAROF degree from Nautisch College Den Helder, complemented by a secondary education focused on Nature and Chemistry at Regiuscollege.
