Melissa Silverman

Melissa Silverman is an accomplished communications professional currently serving as Director of Public Relations at Freddie Mac since August 2023. Prior to this role, Melissa held key positions at Global Communities as Vice President of Communications during the merger with Project Concern International, and at Project Concern International as Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Additional experience includes serving as Associate Director for International Communications at Global Health Advocacy Incubator, founding Silver Pen Strategies for communications, and various roles in the public sector, including Director of Communications for the Peace Corps and Communications Director for U.S. Representative Ron Klein. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Virginia.
