Jason Deater

Jason Deater currently serves as the First Responder Program Manager, Adjunct Professor, and Police and Fire Science Program Liaison at Frederick Community College since January 2019. Prior to this role, Jason Deater retired as a Lieutenant from the Frederick County Sheriff's Office, MD, where tenure lasted from October 2002 to September 2022. Jason Deater holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice with a focus on Emergency and Disaster Management from American Military University, a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the same institution, and an Associate’s degree in Police Science from Frederick Community College. Additionally, Jason Deater completed the School of Police Staff and Command Class #493 at Northwestern University in mid-2021.
