Judith M. Horowitz

Vice Provost at Fredonia

Judith M. Horowitz is an accomplished academic leader currently serving as Vice Provost and Associate Provost for Graduate Studies, Sponsored Programs, and Faculty Development at the State University of New York at Fredonia since June 2014. With extensive experience in higher education, Judith held the position of Associate Vice President and Dean of the School of Adult and Graduate Education at Medaille College from 1997 to May 2013, where responsibilities included managing a diverse academic program portfolio and overseeing student support services for approximately 1,800 students. Judith has also served as an Associate Professor (tenured) in the Department of Graduate Counseling and Psychology, has taught a wide range of undergraduate and graduate psychology courses, and has held various administrative roles, including Chairperson of the Social Sciences Department. Judith earned a Ph.D. and a Master of Arts in Psychology, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/English, all from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
