Kaustav Misra

Kaustav Misra currently serves as the Dean and Professor of Economics at the State University of New York at Fredonia since February 2023. Prior to this role, Kaustav held significant positions including Associate Dean at Central Connecticut State University School of Business and facilitator for AACSB’s Seminar for New Associate Deans. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Kaustav has managed department curricula, schedules, and budgets, recruited and evaluated faculty, and mentored junior faculty and students. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Economics from Mississippi State University and multiple Master's degrees from the University of Kentucky and Webster University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya.
