Fenke Elskamp

Fenke Elskamp possesses extensive experience in leadership and program management within various international development and humanitarian contexts. Currently serving as Team Leader for Africa and Europe/Eurasia at Free Press Unlimited, Fenke focuses on defending press freedom and supporting media resilience. Previous roles include Country Director for Terre des hommes in Mali, where responsibilities encompassed program implementation in health, child protection, and migration. Fenke's career also includes significant contributions to Save the Children International as Director of Program Development and Quality, and Oxfam Novib as Associate Country Director in Niger. With a solid academic background in Natural Resources Management from Wageningen University & Research, Fenke has consistently demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, quality program development, and multi-stakeholder collaboration across diverse sectors.
