Caglar Ak

Caglar Ak has extensive experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as the Deputy Nominated Person for Continuing Airworthiness at Freebird Airlines Europe since September 2019, and as part of the Airworthiness Review Staff at Freebird Airlines since December 2017. Prior experience includes a role as Deputy Engineering Manager at FREEBIRD from June 2002 to December 2014, where responsibilities encompassed aircraft maintenance, planning, and compliance. Caglar's earlier career includes positions as an Aeronautical Engineer and System & Maintenance Engineer at AIR ALFA from May 2001 to June 2002. Caglar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, completed in 1998.
