Nellie C. Stoeckel

Nellie Stoeckel is an Associate in the Litigation and Intellectual Property Practice Groups. Nellie has managed large-scale discovery for complex cases in both state and federal courts. Nellie’s expertise is wide-ranging and encompasses all aspects of case and trial management: e-discovery, fact research and analysis, client interviews, trial team supervision, and on-site, courtroom supervision.

Prior to joining Freeborn, Nellie served as an IP/Litigation Paralegal at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. Her early career concentrated in commercial litigation and multi-district products liability cases. Since 2006, she has specialized in intellectual property and patent litigation.

Nellie has also appeared before Chicago municipal judges on behalf of clients. Throughout her career, she has regularly donated time to pro bono matters, advocating on behalf of the indigent and disadvantaged.
