Chris Jaeger, MD, MBA

Chris Jaeger, MD, MBA, serves as Vice President at Freed Associates and holds the position of Chief Medical Officer at the California Department of Managed Health Care. With extensive experience in clinical innovation and care redesign, Chris previously contributed as Chief Clinical Innovation Officer and Vice President at Purchaser Business Group on Health. Additionally, Chris has held significant roles at Blue Shield of California and Sutter Health, including Chief Medical Information Officer and various leadership positions in medical informatics. An educator, Chris was an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF School of Medicine and a Hospitalist with Pacific Inpatient Medical Group. Chris earned a Doctor of Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University, an MBA in Health Care Management from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
