Sahand Chegini

Sahand Chegini has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Sahand is currently working at Freed Corp. as the Vice President of Asset Management. Prior to this role, they held positions such as Director of Asset and Investment Management, Senior Investments Manager, Senior Investments Associate, and Investment and Development Analyst at the same company. Sahand has also been involved in the student associations at Rotman School of Management, serving as the Vice President of Industry Relations for the Rotman BASc/MBA Student Association and the Vice President of External for the Rotman Real Estate Association. Before their MBA, Sahand worked as a Student Estimator/Coordinator at Aecon Group Inc. Sahand also has research experience as a Research Intern in both structural engineering and concrete at the University of Toronto.

Sahand Chegini holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto, which they obtained from 2015 to 2020. Sahand also pursued an MBA with a specialization in Real Estate Development at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management from 2020 to 2022. Prior to their university education, Sahand attended York Mills C.I. from 2012 to 2015 and Atomic Energy (Salam) High School in 2011-2012. Additionally, Sahand has obtained certifications such as ARGUS Software Certified (ASC) from Altus Group in April 2020, and they have completed a course on Real Estate Deal Structuring: Introduction to the Waterfall Framework from LinkedIn and LEED Green Associate from Green Business Certification, Inc.
