Christopher B. Eckert, CPA, is a Director in Freed Maxick’s Healthcare Consulting and Attest Practice. Resident in the Buffalo Office, Chris has over 15 years of experience in public accounting primarily servicing the healthcare industry.

Chris serves as the primary client contact and is responsible for the overall planning, supervision and completing of client engagements. He has developed a broad background in accounting and auditing in the manufacturing, technology and distribution industries, including registrants with the Securities and Exchange Commission. He now exclusively focuses on audits and consulting engagements within the healthcare industry with a concentration on integrated healthcare delivery systems, hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. Chris’ areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, annual financial statement audits, in-depth financial reviews, financial feasibility reviews, business line profitability reviews, business valuation services, preparation and filing of annual cost reports, rate maximization review, business process improvement review, due diligence projects on behalf of both selling and acquiring entities and compliance testing of internal accounting control systems.
