Richard J. Wright, Jr.

Richard J. Wright, Jr., CPA is a Director in Freed Maxick’s Tax Practice. He is also the Director in charge of the Firm’s Human Resources department.

He has a broad background in tax planning working with closely held businesses, in particular with sub chapter S-corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. He also has significant experience assisting companies with tax advisory services pertaining to M&A activity. Rich assists manufacturing, technology and software companies in New York and nationally to successfully reduce their tax liabilities by uncovering R&D credits.

Rich has other specialty areas including working with high net worth individuals, business owners, and professional athletes with their personal tax planning and compliance needs.
