Gaurav Chauhan

Gaurav Chauhan has over 20 years of work experience in the finance and credit industry. Gaurav began their career at Standard Chartered Bank in 2000 as an Assistant Manager - Customer Relations, where they managed collections across delinquency levels for card portfolio. In 2002, they joined Associates First Capital as an Assistant Manager, where they managed delinquent cases for Auto, Housing, Two Wheeler and Consumer Finance cases for the Delhi and NCR region. In 2003, they moved to Citi as Manager - Credit & Risk, where they were responsible for collections of consumer portfolio of Personal loans, Mortgage, Sales finance, Auto and Business loans. Gaurav then moved to Citi India in 2004 as Regional Manager - Credit & Risk, Fraud Control, where they were responsible for developing fraud risk management framework. In 2006, they moved back to Citi as Assistant Vice President - Credit & Risk, Fraud Control, where they were responsible for development and proactive usage of Analytics & MIS to enhance the credit and operational risk prevention strategy for consumer finance. In 2009, they joined Cumulative Ventures LLP as General Manager - Collections, where they were responsible for identification of stressed portfolios across banking channels, corporate and ARCs PAN India. In 2011, they joined Omega Business Solutions as General Manager - Collection, Acquisitions & BPO Operations, where they were responsible for expanding business operations from Maharashtra to New Delhi, Haryana, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan. In 2014, they joined Finmax Holdings P. Ltd. as General Manager - Collection Operations & Founding Member, where they were responsible for corporate and retail NPA portfolio assessment and acquisition. In 2017, they joined Aahan Farms Private Limited as Co-Founder, where they were responsible for operational responsibility across Sales, Marketing, Collections, Growth Strategy, Analytics, Consumer Support, Technology Development, Procurement & Distribution. Gaurav is currently working at FREED as Head - Credit Relations, since 2022.

Gaurav Chauhan attended Jamia Millia Islamia from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in the Faculty of Management Studies.
