Brett Rainey's work experience includes various leadership roles in asset management and investment advisory firms. Beginning in 1996 at Lincoln Financial Group, they served as the Head Trader for Chubb Securities. Rainey then worked for MFS Investment Management as an Assistant Vice President, where they played a key role in establishing and expanding their Separately Managed Accounts business unit. In 2004, Rainey joined JP Morgan, where they were responsible for building a new business venture focused on Asset Manager outsourcing. Brett later held senior vice president roles at Placemark Investments, where they managed client platforms and led initiatives to streamline processes and improve operational efficiencies. From 2014 to 2018, Rainey worked at Envestnet, Inc as a Senior Vice President and Enterprise Consultant, working closely with C-level executives and managing the conversion of multiple firms onto the organization's platform. Currently, Rainey serves as the Chief Operations Officer at Freedom Advisors.
Brett Rainey holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In terms of additional certifications, Brett has obtained the Series 24 certification from FINRA in 2021. Additionally, Brett has pursued certifications in Series 4 and Series 7 from FINRA.
